Who we are

FacilityShake is owned and operated by Paul Wechselberger in British Columbia, Canada. We follow BC’s Personal Information Protection Act and, where it applies, Canada’s PIPEDA.

What we collect, and why

• When you contact us (our website form or a LinkedIn form): your name, organization, job title, e-mail and phone, so we can reply.
• When you have an account: your name, e-mail, organization and which features you use, so we can run the service and improve it.
• Alert contacts your organization enters, so we can send the alerts it sets up.

We do not sell personal information or use it for anything else without asking.

Where it is kept

Our database is in Canada. Some services we use to host the site and send e-mail and text messages are based outside Canada, so information they handle may be processed in the United States.

How long

Account data is kept while the account is active and for 90 days after it ends. Contact details from enquiries are kept for up to two years after our last contact, or less if you ask.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in. We use no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or ask us to stop contacting you: [email protected]. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner for BC.
